Annual gross pay is $40,000įull Medical, vision, dental, life insurance coverage for employees. This is a part-time position or 50% FTE, non-exempt position. This position begins with a probationary period of three months to ensure we achieve a good match and workflow. Occasional regional travel is required for events, workshops, meetings and conferences. The position is hybrid while many of the core duties and responsibilities can be performed remotely, in-person attendance at meetings and events will be required. Daily schedule is flexible within the proximity of this time frame, and will be decided in consultation with the supervisor. Occationally, weekend or evening work will be required for meetings and events. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5 pm. Part time hours will not exceed 25 hours a week. Familiarity with the non-profit sector and an understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.Proficient computer / software skills including, Excel, Google Workspace applications (including Google Calendar), Zoom, Calendly, and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications as needed.Demonstrates outstanding written, verbal, and listening skills.Works well in a deadline driven environment both as a team member and individually with minimal supervision.Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience.Track registration/enrollment of, and communication with, event participants.Organize event travel and accommodations for contractors and staff. Assist with execution of events including purchasing of supplies, gathering materials, vendor management, assisting with set up and clean up, etc.Support logistical planning of events including timeline, resources, etc.Organize Google Workspace drive folders.Collect and prepare paperwork for contractor’s and participant reimbursements and invoicing.Administrative assistance with Fiscal Sponsor (submitting payment requests, honoraria, and reimbursements, etc.).Coordinate staff and leadership meetings by distributing agenda, taking notes, flagging follow up needed, etc.Maintain calendar and schedule meetings on behalf of the Director.Work well independently, with a group of BiPOC queer and trans co-workers who are also highly accountable to each other and our work.Are a curious, heartfelt person who can think ahead of what’s needed, offer creative solutions, and genuinely desire to do administrative work.Collaboratively solve problems and seek clarification when expectations for work are not clear.Show initiative, are a good listener, and flexible managing complexity with grace.Due to the nature of our work, you will flourish if you: The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent organizational skills, and has a passion for supporting the non-profit sector.
